Eesa RVQ Tour

Halfpipes and Hotdawgs in Hood!

Mt Hood

Remember the Aggro Crag?

6:30am, We roll into a brisk, and cloudy Mt. Hood. First stop of the day is the Huckleberry Inn for a bite to eat. After a hearty mountain man breakfast aka 7 cups of black coffee for Travis, we head for hood.

Snowboard boots huh? Its been a month or so since we put those things on. All geared up, we head for the top at Timberline. It was a tit-bit nipply at first that early in the AM, but quickly warmed up. We came to Hood between sessions, so we rode the public Timberline park; a halfpipe, 4 mellow jumps perfect to get your spin on, and one flat down box feature. Eesa team rider, Travis Limoge, was showin all the ladies how to grab that rail. Hung with buddy and Tahoe local, Joe Bosler, and met up with Robbie Sell on the chair. Once Windell’s gets pumpin’ again, we’ll be sure to hop into their park and ride some real terrain!

We had another RVQ after a day of riding right in the hood parking lot. The Windell’s van came over fully equipped with a basketball hoop, backed right up and the party started with some games of knockout. We headed down the hill to the RV stop to get some much needed showers, and to plug in our electronics since all of the outlets are down in the RV!

Straight Ballin’

Had to stop at the store to grab a few more brass monkey’s, then off to Zig Zag Pizza for dinner. Some of the best pizza Ive had in a long time, just watch out for the snappy waitress who won’t let you stay past 9! After a full stomach, we went to meet up with some friends at ‘the shack’, right down the road. A couple beers later, we say hi to some of the local ‘folk’, and almost get into it with her boyfriend cletus, who was apparently pissed off she wasn’t waiting in the car while he was getting hammered.

We take off from the shack and park the RV at the Arc, the Windell’s employee housing. So the beer pong starts, along with the extreme scootering on the deck. After a few more, we head to bed in the RV.

Going to Portland in the EARLY AM (4am) to drop off Agatha at the airport, charge up, and pick up Steve Cleary (Eesa Owner) to come along for the ride!
