Description
The Legend Exclusive returns unchanged except for a new graphic. While not as narrow or quick as some of the dedicated groomer skis, and not as wide as a few other models, this ski does a darn good job of everything and is a standout for the good skier. Our women testers found that it handled all turn shapes and hard snow up to just shy of ice really well. The shape is conservative and allows high edge angle carves or flat footed swivels equally well. The raised heel platform balances the skier a little more on the forefoot than an equivalent unisex ski would. The Legend is not overly damped and has a light energetic feel and surprising stability for such a light model. I tested the ski in a 172 and found it to be surprisingly strong for a man my size and ability. Few women will need more ski than this. Most expert women will want a 165 cm length, while the advanced woman skier will probably go for the 158.

Dynastar binding set ups:
The Dynastar engineers believe that skis made with significant off trail use in mind, are best designed around a specific binding, but without plate or rail set ups. This allows the ski to be lighter overall and creates a lot of grip under the foot. This type of binding also allows a lower binding mount and generally allows the tip and tail of the ski to remain more maneuverable than more carving oriented skis. The LOOK PX-12 is the binding set up that this ski was designed around but others can be used.
