I liked the AR5 so much that I was admittedly wary of the changes Armada said they were making to build the AR6, but all my fears washed away when I skied it at the Mammoth on snow demo last year. The Armada AR6, with a fitting new name for the team ski seeing how TJ Schiller has earned his way into Armadas and our hearts, is a monster of an All Mountain Park ski. Continuing the Armada tradition of dimensions progressively wider with length the new AR6 is about 5mm wider throughout the size run than the old AR5, but reps the same proven flex of the Armada AR Core 1. On the burly side of the park ski world for '07 the Armada AR6 will be a go to one ski quiver for the legit All Mountain Park rat and the off-trail bump crasher who hits the pipe on occasion.
