Mine was at Vail the season before last. I was there for a race with my schools ski team. All the racers were complaining about how soft the course was and the resulting ruts in the course while I was in Sun Up Bowl drowning in chest deep pow. Light as could be every turn you would surface just log enough to inhale then you would be sprayed again by the snow rushing up over your body and be completely blind. If you've ever seen a Vail add with a skier dropping a cliff with snow sloughing down behind him I got to drop that cliff after a very tough hike through the snow. When I landed My friend and his dad couldn't even see me. all they saw was a small rooster tail like bugs bunny leaves as he travels under ground then about 20ft further I re-surfaced gasping for air. well that was the best day of skiing ever for me what was yours?

Jeremy Brown aka Cr1msonth1ng it was going really great i hit everything i wanted to in the park nothing was hurting me ( thats rare lol) the weather was perfect and it was an amazing park and riding day, until this, at the end of the day they have this 20 foot picnic table set up and its setup at an up angle so its like 4 o'clock and we keep hitting it, and just messing around as it gets later and we've done it a bunch the take off gets rutted out and packed more and i go to hit this picnic table and don't pop enough my board went under the table and snapped the nose and my arm and head took the blow luckily i just ended up with a hardcore concussion and bruising the tissues in my arm so it was a perfect day the best ever until the end. ha ha thats my story.

Click here to see the profile of this user 		Re:Your best day of skiing/riding - 2007/08/28 22:55 Everyday! I know it is a great generalization but I had to say it. Working full time sucks in comparison to what I used to ski so I try to appreciate everyday.

Ultimate Favorite would be a 3ft powder day at Kirkwood with my dad when I was in 8th grade. They closed the Hwy 5 cars behind us. The storm was calming but the avalanche danger on the Carson Spur was to great. 200 people max and exceptional February powder. I can still see the walls carved by the Snow Plows in my mind.

Just playing around seeing what kind of things I could do. All these new doors open I'd never been able to experience. Plus the looks I would get while I was manualing around in total control riding better than half the people on the hill in a manual!
