Wide and fat, no beer goggles needed. - 2006/11/06 19:23 Held the Prophet 130's and the Pontoons and read up on the new Armada ARG's "La Gorda".

Being a +200 lbs skiier and pretty tall I can't wait to hop on some of these. Just hope the snowfall can accumulate the need.

Re:Wide and fat, no beer goggles needed. - 2006/11/07 00:50 I would recomend the prophets simply because the design of the pontoons and ARGs makes it nearly impossible to ski anywhere but powder on them. I've read about how the pontoons are total shit in anything less than waist deep pow. Not even your typical pow day. ARGs seem pretty sick too so that would be my next choice. It also depends on if you plan on dropping some cliffs and stuff. I would imagine the fat tail would help out with stomping cliffs on the 130s to help give more support. Re:Wide and fat, no beer goggles needed. - 2006/11/09 04:32 ofcourse the pontoons are shit out of powder they've got reverse camber so that they're easier to maneuvre in powder kinda like water skis but it sucks a big one every where else they're definetly specialty skis The Button
