We were out at Kirkwood on Saturday to shred some of the 4+ feet of fresh snow they had. We were blessed with bluebird conditions in the morning. In the afternoon, the sun went away, but things heated up for the Snowbomb Sick And Twisted slopestyle event. Check out the pics!
Our friend Ben Meester went out with some friends the other day to capture some really good shots. Check them out...
The USASA Boardercross series stopped at Sierra @ Tahoe to session the famous Gauntlet. The hazy skies made for some nice spills, but the competitors weren't deterred by a little gray in the sky, they were hauling through the course!
The sky was cloudy, but the skiers and riders didn't care. We were on hand to witness Double Corked 9's and 1260's, and this was an "amateur" contest. It's safe to say that the bar has been raised. Check out some of the pics!
The Queen’s Cup on Sunday, February 5, 2006 wasn't your typical competition. Although the judges, including Steffan Thomas, Austin Ramaley, Jacob Wester, Laurent Favre, Ashley Battersby, and Jon Olsson, are all experienced contest judges, and yes, there were winners chosen, there definitely wasn't the usual high pressure atmosphere that surrounds a freeskiing contest. Enjoy the pics!
